i swear, my mind's still messed up with mere thoughts of school and my future. like, get a grip lah Balkeys. pfft. i believe there's a fine line between wanting what you want and wanting what you need. for my case, i know what i want and i need what i want. sigh. alright screw this. shan't rant about this any longer.

alright. Baybeats was.. well, alright i guess. met old friends who seem to get prettier by the day. lol. it's just that the line-ups are pretty odd, except for a few familiar ones. but aside from Baybeats, i particularly love love love how August has (or is it had?) been. i don't even know where to start, or point to exactly what it is that made August so great for me.

i guess it starts with the company of the beloved friends. it's been quite a long while since i have an intimate, small girl-talks and whatnots, and Emil and Radz have been such great sweetthings to share some stuff with all these time. and small crappy jokes from the guys sure can make everyone burst into huge laughter despite how nonsensical some of their jokes can be. aside from the great company, there are the musical events; there's Singfest, although i think last year's line-up was slightly better. and although i din't have the tickets to be in the crowd for Lost Prophets and Jason Mraz. o, boooo. and then there's Baybeats; but i've already covered that. mmmkay, what else? o yes, the call from TP for the interview that made me all perked up with excitement which eventually became another episode of my dilemma and paranoia. well don't you worry, i shall not ramble any further on this..

and Dear and i, haven't been fighting a lot. i think. even if we did, it's good to know that i don't remember much of it. it clearly proves that the good times always outnumber the bad ones. well, i suppose there are a lot more happenings. i just can't seem to recall anymore right now. for all i know, my August has been wonderful. (:

on another note, i met up with my sister (and Alfrey) the other day coz she needed to pass me our mom's medications. and then Alfrey just had to spill the supposedly-a-surprise my sister had for Dear and i. damn you Alfrey you surprise pooper! hahaha. 'kid.

speaking of him, here's an 8-minute movie directed by Yan, who happens to be in the circle of friends of my sister's and also my cousin's bf. this is for the 8 Minutes Film Competition 2008, and his movie won 2nd place and also the Best Director! check it out. (:
