been pretty occupied with work, that everytime i turned the computer on with the intention of posting an entry, my mind just went blank and my mood was gone. mmm so yeah i kind of got a bit ignorant with blogging for awhile. i still am right now, but i force myself to update because i don't wanna leave my avid readers hanging and wondering where the hell i've been.
ha, as IF lah i got avid readers. -_-!
ok so.. work has been awwweeesssooommee!! what with the kind of manager i have. her name is Joyce, and she's like the most patient, most understanding employer anyone could ever have. even when i was actually being honest about the $8 that i was short of, she assured me, telling me not to worry coz it doesn't matter. haha. best kape. oh yea i work just as a cashier for a bookfair.. like one of those pushcart shops except that mine isn't really a pushcart since it's just one huge shelf with some racks.. selling kids' educational books and stuff. the work's not demanding or as tiring as when i was working in Topshop. ugh that one was like hell. so anyway, Dear picked me up last night and helped me with the closing. yay~ i could always use some extra hands for that. we had dinner at Mc'D after that beore proceeding to meet Hairul and Deeya and the rest at town. and suddenly, it felt like it's been such a long time since i last met all those people. haha.

we went to the SG Museum's Night Fest and it was pretty cool. i got my caricature drawn by this awesome artist, for only 2 minutes! and guess how long i had to wait in the queue? a freaking 1.5 hours! x_x i know, i seem like some typical kiasu Singaporean queueing for that stupid Hello Kitty from Mc'D, except that mine is way better. hahaha. but it was worth it. and the best thing is, it's free. haha. we watched Hairspray too, for Under the Banyan Tree. an outdoor movie 'theatre' kind of thing. very cool.
happy moments aside, now time for the truth.
y'all know how i've been blabbing about applying for Visual Comm in TP, blablabla.. and the registration for the October intake was officially opened yesterday. i applied online, but it was incomplete. coz i wasn't offered (or rather not eligible) for any courses in the Design School. so i just closed the window and decided to apply some other day (this morning). trying my luck, i called up TP Design School and their Admission office, enquiring about whether there is any way i can apply for Visual Comm. and it turns out that going to their Design Scool is solely based on the individual's O-level result. and my O's result is like hung up on the Wall of Shame, so there's like no hope. ughh it's so frustrating. hopeless hopeless. bottom line is, i can't get my sorry ass to Visual Comm. the courses that i am offered are from Engineering and IT school or something. and i thought, even if i can't apply for Visual Comm, might as well apply for the best 3 courses that i am eligible for. and besided, it's still TP, one of the best polytechnics. so i've got nothing to lose right? i just they'll give me the opportunity this time..
