yesterday's visit to Jaimyah Children's Home was.. unexpected. at first, i thought their idea of "fun activities" involve interactive games that require us to run about, be fast and whatnot.. but i was wrong. like c'mon la what was i thinking? that it's some kind of a primary school sports' day? anyway it was pretty fun. the kids are pretty notorious! erm.. ok maybe not exactly notorious, but let's just say.. their daily behaviour cum attitude is pretty much the same as us all. i don't mean to be stereotypical, but i always assume that kids in homes are more quiet and sort of reserved. but they're actually loud and fun. and sneaky. in a good way. lol.

we break our fast together, had appetizers and did our Maghrib prayers. once done with that, we proceeded back to the eating area and feast on a proper meal of chicken rice and some fruits. for a moment, it saddened me to realise that for the upcoming Hari Raya, especially on the first day, they don't have relatives to visit like we normal people do. i recalled my past Hari Raya celebrations, and how i enjoy every moment of it. one of the kids sitting at our table told me that they get visits from people on the 3rd day of Raya or so. i'm not sure how they spend the rest of their Hari Raya celebrations though.

anyway, we made a move around 8. me, my sister, and Alfrey plus Awin and Yan separated from the rest of our cousins, and we headed to Dhouby Ghaut since i had to meet up with Dear and the rest of the Jurong kids at Istana Park, while the 4 of them booked tickets for 4bia(!!) at PS. sister asked me and Dear along, but i skipped the opportunity coz i thought we won't have enough cash. but it turned out that we do, so the 6 of us caught the movie at the 11.30pm slot. and i noticed that for other bloggers who've watched this movie, they tend to post a poster of it. so i'm gonna do it too like so:


and exclaim:
HOLY CRAP SCARY SHIT OR WHAAAATT?!! those bloggers were right when they say even the guy viewers at the cinema are bound to scream their socks off! i'm not gonna give away the scary details, but all i can say is, i've predicted some scenes to be pretty typical like other horror movies. you know, the kind whereby the ghost/spirit will appear right in the middle of the screen when you least expect it, especially with the sound effects that can make you jump right out of your skin. yeah, that kind. it's predictable lah but yet it still scare the shit out of me. and story number 4; well, let's just say i'm glad i've never dreamt of wanting to be a flight attendant/stewardess.

oh, and Dear's way of being scared is so funny hahaha! and so was the guy who sat next to him. because Dear said his leg shot right up when the shocking scene with sound effect came on! XD
