maths is dead
the TP interview was scheduled at 12.10pm, but i was out of the house at 9.30am. no no, i wasn't being kiasu, just hungry for McD's breakfast at Lot1. and Dear too of course, since it was his bright idea to head for breakfast first. as soon as we reached Tamp, we looked for any one of the buses to TP and we ended up taking this one bus but had no idea where to alight. a good thing there was this kid who sat in front of us, happens to be a TP student so we decided to alight when he does. and the thing is.. he alighted at one stop before the actual stop, and we figured that he only alighted there as a shortcut to his class or something. *shrugs*

the school is huge! bigger than Simei i suppose. and very nice. it's a good thing that Dear was with me though coz it felt so odd being there for the first time, eventhough i suppose no one there would've guessed that i was just a visitor there since everyone dressed ordinarily casual. well whatever. we hurried to level 6, and we got there just in the nick of time. when i was called in by Dr Ven to the room to be interviewed, i was questioned of the normal things like family and educational backgrounds, et cetera.. until he scribbled something on this piece of paper which i initially thought was just some regular note he had to jot down of me. until he wrote a 2 and x and +. right there and then i could feel my eyes widen to such a huge extent i'm surprised my eyeballs din't just fall right out of my sockets.

omg the horror!! D: D: it's like secondary school all over again! when was the last time i solve such an equation? err, just 3 years ago! -_-" it was so alien to me then, and it is still so alien to me now. but surprisingly enough, my brain din't freeze by the sight of such absurd, terrifying numeric figures that they call equation, that i actually got the answer right. Dr Ven even said i did a good job. haha. ok well i know the equation is simple and all to some of you but knowing how i suck at Maths and have never touched on it eversince i left sec school, i did do a pretty good job.

as soon as the interview ended, the first thing i thought was, man, Poly is all about work. ITE to me has always been about work and play. and play more. hahahahaha. -___-"

so Dil and Shasha both chose option (b) (refer to prev entry). while Dear is being supportive of wanting me to study in the field of my interest coz he din't want me to regret in the future. and as for me, i agree with those 3 people. which concludes to:

my dilemma status: sickeningly high.

o well. i guess i'll have to consult with my uncle. being a teacher for many years, i'm sure he has some advices. he always does anyway, even if i don't ask for it.

school stuff aside, Dear and i wandered around City Hall, and ended up at Esplanade to catch the fireworks. haha fireworks nye power gedegak! the flying firey "sperms" are cute, LOL.

hmm. wonder where to today. lame tk jumpe those weekend kids.

go up 10:34 AM
