my my, they look more appetizing here.. well anyway -

on a random note, if i have the power to rewrite history, i will start way back when my parents were born. and if i also have the power to alter one's character, it will be my parents' too. no, not in a bad way. just to spice up their childhood, their youths, and their lives before marriage. i'd make them be a much more open and sporting people, with a loud and crazy personalities. and maybe be a little bit stubborn too, or probably slightly rebellious, just for the fun of it. is that bad? well, their lives would be one hell of a roller-coaster ride, considering that my mom's mother is a very strict person when raising her children. i'm not sure about my dad's though.

anyhoo, now it leaves us with the question: why would i do such a thing? well it's simple. if my parents really did go through all that as a child, then they'd most probably understand why their children just refuse, or usually rather prefer to stay out late. they'd probably understand why it's ok to mix around with boys as we grow up. and hey, me and my sister won't have trouble confessing to them of our boyfriends. erm.. ok, currently, make that just boyfriend - a singular, no 's'. and maybe i wouldn't have to find myself in a - what i'd like to call - forbidden relationship. oooh i suddenly sound so dramatic right now. haha. well yes, it really wouldn't be awkward sharing your love life with your parents. not really in detail of course, just being able to approach them for like advices, and knowing that they won't go all ballistic on you after that. and maybe our mom and us could be like the Gilmore Girls. haha.

i feel like letting it all out to them about everything by the end of this year. no, before this year's Hari Raya actually. oh well. *shrugs* have a pleasant day night earthlings.
