chocolate cake.
alright, the title for this post has got nothing to do with what i wanna blog today. it's just something random, coz i was just eating this chocolate xmas log cake mom made. lol.

this blog update is exactly 1 week overdue. but i told myself not to post anything until a new layout is up. haha. k whatever.

first and foremost, apologies to fellow classmates, especially Salih since he was the organiser, for not turning up for the chalet last Saturday. well i did say i might not come though.. ok anyway i'm sure they all had fun, especially after what Lydia had mentioned in her blog. frankly, i miss playing Taiti with you guys!! that's one of the things that first popped into my mind when i was told of the chalet. hahaha. and yes, i can't help but remember the times when i first learnt how to play that card game. and it was early this year la! haha. lembab or what. it was Lydia and Ayie who taught me how. ^^ oh and Fyda too (speaking of her i wonder how she's doing now..). i was the one who always brought the poker cards. and after we were done with our food during lunchbreak, i'd just fish the cards out and let 'em play, while i sat at the sides, and only joined in when they decided to switch to playing Bluff. haha. then i got curious with Taiti and so Lydia and Ayie became my tutors. wahaha.

however, even if i din't get to play Taiti with them, i was still able to play the same game on that day. coz on Saturday, Dear and i headed to Chinatown with the intention of taking some photographs. but we ended up taking only like 2 or 3 coz we got starved halfway and had our not-so-satisfying lunch at Maxwell Food Court. met up with Emil, who brought the cards, and Khairil first at four stick. so yeah. geez i can't believe my first 2 paragraphs are about Taiti. wth.

moving on, the lot of us spent the night chilling at Millenia Walk, where something ridiculously embarrassing happened to me on the way home. truly, frankly, and honestly speaking, i don't mind elaborating on my pathetic little accident there but being the very very long-winded person that i am, i shall spare you guys with the imagination that you might have to work up on considering that my long-winded explanation will get very complicating. sigh, see, i'm doing it right now. alright, screw it. the bottom line is, what happened was, i went home with my entire left leg and the bottom part of my dress all wet, and my left canvas sneakers all drenched. yes, with the cotton socks on too. so imagine walking to the bus-stop, then to be in the 45-minute drive home in the bus with your left foot literally soaking. i'm suprised my foot din't prune up as i expected. ha. it's a good thing though, that i've grown up to learn to embrace any form of embarrassment i got into. so yeah i just laughed it off. oh and it helped too that nobody else witnessed what happened. hoho.

yesterday, me, my dad, and my grandma from my dad's side, visited a relative at NUH. the relative, an 84-year-old man, seemed cute! well, the way he speaks and his reactions, that is. haha. well, he mumbles actually. and it's very hard to make out the words, although i managed to understand a few. he looked kinda fragile too, but he talked like a healthy young man! oh and fast too, like me. haha. we left soon after that, then home sweet home.

alright, i'm heading off now. will be having a date with Brody on the telly later on. haha.
