smooth sailing.
am having the urge to delete the previous post. but i'll just keep that as a reminder to myself. alright, so.. yesterday, the both of us managed to iron things out after a terrible night the night before. and he decided that we should go out after all that's happened. k best. we had no idea where to head to though. so the only place we know which has easy walking-access to everywhere else like town, is City Hall (if y'all don't understand what i'd just said, nvm. lol. -.-). had a massive lunch at Marina Food Loft - which something quite embarrassing happened to me. we ate at the open-space balcony, and so after we'd found a vacant table, i made my way back in to order my lunch. but the damn auotmatic sliding door won't open, even after i'd stood there mcm legong for a good.. 6 secs? -_- paiseh siak babi. and i think the group of people nearest to the door were secretly laughing coz i saw them giving quick glances at me. haha basket.

we walked to Singapore Flyer after that and watched this score-a-goal soccer game, whereby participants had to shoot the ball into the 4 various holes on the cardboard wall in front of them which act as the goal post. ok why do i even bother explaining that? anyway, we chilled at this vacant spot facing the.. Coleman Bridge? Benjamin Sheares Bridge? haha dunno lah what's the name. anyhow only Balqis. -_- but there's a river lah. and since there was the NDP rehearsals, there were 5 huge cannons neatly lined up along the shoreline of the river and a group of army people marched in to get ready to fire. it was actually kind of fun, and made me reminisce of my NPCC days. hahahahaha. so yeah. majority of the people at SG Flyer gathered to witness, and when the command was given for them to fire, the sound was.. almost deafening! haha and it gave the whole lot of us a good jump! lol. well no surprise to that, since we were just a few feet behind the cannons. smoke covered the entire place for awhile. and before the fire, Dear kept teasing me, saying i got excited about it and started to talk a lot more than usual only because i wanted to cover my fear of the loud explosion later on. hahaha mepek lah! it was him who practically jumped out of his skin everytime the cannon fired. lmao.

after the cannons, 6 aeroplanes (or was it jets?) wheezed past with the usual smoke tailing them. and they made heart shapes too!

k idk if the heart shape's clear enough for ya. but it's beautiful. just a li'l too fat, but ok lah. ha. at ard 8, we made a move to Esplanade where Emil and Khairil joined us shortly after. we met the rest of the Jurong kids (plus Radz) at riverside, and spent almost the rest of the night there. with gossips with the girls, and the new discovery for honey steamed corns. gawd that sounds so wrong. anyway Dan brought along his friend, Liesa, which took me about.. 15mins? to realise that she's a friend of Nisa's. haha. small world. and it's a good thing me and Dear went home together with my sister, since we took 3N home. so at least mom won't biseng2 too much. and she really din't.

overall, the night was awesome. but the bottom line is, i am sooo glad Dear and i managed to iron things out. 4 more months to the perfect 3. and many more bittersweet months to forever. ily!
