a guy came down to assist me, and i was told to fill in a form. once done, we discussed about the type of job they do there. so here's the scoop: i'm aware that they teach/train kids in professional softwares like Adobe, but i wasn't aware that the teaching is at the school of those kids! imagine, if the school is located at, say, Pasir Ris -- WHOA. my ez-link is just gonna DIE i tell you. or maybe just my mom's wallet. -__-" but nevermind, that one not so bad. at least i'll be earning some cash at the end of the day, and experience.
the second thing is, CreativeBITS not only teach primary school kids (coz i assumed CB only teach kids of that level or below) but also secondary school kids! and y'all know how sec school kids are like. no offence, i was once a sec school kid too, duh. and some kids these days are just stubborn. the working hours are great, but then i started to feel like i should back out.. idk. i was being quite honest to the guy about my confidence when it comes to teaching, especially since that i've never had any teaching experiences. i have a feeling i might not be able to get the job when he said he'll call me back if i'm shortlisted. but now i feel like i still WANT the job. aalamaaaaaak fickle kan aku niii! hrmph!
Dear ended school early today, and the timing was just perfect. he was done with school when i was done with the interview. so i window-shopped around Bugis for a mo while waiting for him to text me so i can start to make my way to the 1st cab to meet him. and, as soon as he reached home, he was 'greeted' with a
it's sad to know another rat dies. now left only 1 in the tank. wah survivor seh. but i bet, very soon, that particular survivor will also die coz she's all alone in the tank. rats live and survive longer in a community. meaning that there must be at least 2 rats living together in the same cage/tank, or else they can just die. it's like, they need company. so yeah. tsktsk.
all sadness aside, here's a joke:
Reaching the end of a job interview, the Human Resources person asked a young applicant fresh out of Business School, "So what starting salary are you looking for?"
The applicant said, "Around $100,000 a year, depending on the benefits package."
The interviewer said, "Well, what would you say to 20 days of paid leave, full medical and dental, the company matching your retirement fund to 50% of your salary, and a company car leased every two years - say, a red Suzuki Swift?"
The applicant sat up straight and said, "Wow! Are you kidding?"
And the interviewer replied, "Yeah, but you started it."
