so anyway, Dear and i decided to just walk ard Bugis today. oh and not forgetting, my student fare has expired, which means i have to suffer like every other working adult in the adult transport fare. "hi, i'd like to top-up $5", said i to the MRT staff in the ticketing office. "oh sorry, you're using adult fare alrady". ugh, babi. so anyway, we had no idea what to do once we got there. the first thing we did was to buy McFlurry which he has been craving for since.. dunno how long ago. so i also sebok2 uh buy Hot Fudge. hehe. from there, we walked to Arab St. walked one round, then made another round in an attempt to have prata (his cravings again) for lunch at one of those indian shophouses. but we bailed out on the idea coz we decided to eat something more fulfilling. so we pit-stopped at Banquet @ Raffles Hospital for some decent lunch, but we decided not to when we realised that the food were to exp and very little; not worth it. finally we settled on Magic Wok and walked all the way to City Hall. and oh-my-god, of all the times i've eaten at Magic Wok, that time today was my first time tasting such horrible Seafood Hor Fun! and Dear almost ruined my appetite when he said the gravy tasted like mucus. -___________-" the gravy ain't so thick and the sotong very salty. eeeyuck.
so from there, we walked to PS. window-shopped for a bit before heading to town to meet the Jurong kids. when we finally met up with them, we ran into Emil (!), Khairil, Bean and some of their friends, and oh my that girl just gets prettier by the day ladey. :D too bad she had to dye her reddish-brown hair back to black due to school. i loved the previous colour. we separate ways after a quick chat, and decided to meet up again much later. bumped into Zad, who sadly, din't recognize me coz i wasn't wearing my glasses anymore. saw him from afar and so i waved. but he just looked at me blankly and waved back. at that point i knew he din't recognize me and i felt like some lunatic waving at him and he just played along. haha. but he finally recalled who i was, so yeah. haha.
after awhile we headed to Taka where Emil, Khai, Bean and the rest were sitting. while the guys talked among themselves abt NS stories and Mas Selamat (i swear, that escapee gets all the attention these days he could be more famous than Michael Jackson one day), Emil and i chatted abt school, and some old friends. gorgeous, imy too! haha.
it's great to be able to talk to her again. you know, everytime we bumped into each other, it'll remind me of the old days, the old times. i just read her lj earlier and i have to agree about that. i miss the times when everything seemed right and real. the times when you know your friends will always be there and things will stay the same no matter what happens. but as usual, everything and everyone change at one point or another, and that's something no humans have any control of. what i once had, are now gone. but what i have now, i'll try to keep it close. well enough with the reminiscence. but the impromptu meet-up ended my night real well. even Dear said i looked happier than before (i was feeling a bit down during the day). so yeah.
and my feet is officially not made to wear slippers/pumps/flats/whatever that sort, for an entire day. i get blisters everytime! the previous blisters i got at the back of both of my feet are not yet healed (and it's bleeding some more) and i got another one on one of my toes today. geez. ah whatever. sneakers and socks have always been my feet's best friend anyway. well i'm dead beat. to walk all the way from Bugis to town is a great workout which i badly needed; to keep fit and save money on transport fare. lol.
well, it was back then during those days. (;
