all of a sudden while watching The O.C earlier, i was struck with a mini desire to travel. hmm, well maybe because that time Marissa was about to leave Harbor to join her dad sailing, but i've always wanted to go somewhere beyond Malaysia. for a start, Thailand maybe. coz i want to have a go of their original tom yam! hahaha. well yes, food's always the reason behind everything. and surprisingly, as i drowned my thoughts day-dreaming about travelling, shopping, which has always been the #1 (or 2) reason that will psyched me up, falls down to the last thing on my mind. it's not because i was thinking of Thailand (since i've never heard of a great sale there), but prolly because i just want a great escape from normal sunny-rainy Singapore, to.. somewhere chilly or winter-y. again, i'm not talking about Thailand. just somewhere which fits the description.
i was just reading Nurul Aini's blog and she posted pictures of her honeymoon to Turkey. the newlyweds look great, but the place is just awesome! what with assumably a top-notch quality of SLR to compliment those beautiful sceneries. and her clothes are all fab too! *dies* and talking about clothes..
ITE just texted me, encouraging us fresh graduates to register online for GRADUATION DAY! Shasha said it's somewhere mid-May, and i'm so stoked right now. it's not really because of getting excited over thinking what outfit/dress to wear, but.. idk. i guess it's because i really miss them all a lot. yeah, i miss my classmates. well it's former classmates to be precise, but it sounds so long ago. lol. i wonder if the guys will still be in their lame-ass jokes and antics if all of us decided to go. have yet to confirm with the rest to see if they're going. i mean i do wanna go, but if i'm the only one in the bunch to register while the rest don't, i know i'll be bored on g-day. i hope they will all go. i know Shasha and Salih will. haha funny sickening lad. :D so yay. and while i'm in a chipper mood, might as well think of what to wear. haha i know this seems a bit too far-fetched, but don't blame me coz Shasha had asked me this qn before, around last week? haha. besides, it's a good way to take my mind off all these job-hunting, and my parents questioning me abt school and work and yada yada yada..
this morning, i woke up super early ard 8.30, just to make a quick trip to the underground shop to buy a copy of The Straits Times; for the Classifieds Recruit section, what else. nothing of my interest. 80cents gone. then Lydia was online, so i chatted with her abt her previous job during our school's attachment last year. she told me this and that, and so i shared the info with Shasha since the both of us were looking out for each other abt this job-hunting thing. built my resume, and off it went via electronic mail to Shellen, the boss (i think). so the job mainly is to work with kids, assist them with MS Powerpoint stuff and such. one of Lydia's job last time was to design brochures/flyers. now that's something of my interest. she said the job's not too bad so i guess yeah why not. i've considered working in childcare centres anyway, although most require a cert in pre-school teaching. Shellen has yet to reply though. i hope that's not a bad sign. i mean i hope my resume is good enough to land me a spot. and Shasha too, of course. (:
well, till then.
