i hail from choa chu kang, which makes me a West-side homie (hahahaha). so to have an approximately 1hr 15mins travel aaalll the way to the East side, ITE Simei specifically, is a bloody waste of time especially if you just got stuck there for a mere 15mins, then make a U-turn home. because upon reaching my class, it (the class) was pitch dark, not a single living soul was there. so i quickly fished out my hp and rang Lydia up, thinking whether her call yesterday (which i din't answer and had forgotten to call back) had anything to do with today's sudden no-appearances.
Me: eh Lynn kau katne?
Lydia: ah.. kat rumah uh..
Me: rumah? eh niari tkde class eh? aku kat skola sial! beh tkde org!
Lydia: kau kat skola?? actually ade class, tapi budak cine sume tknk dtg so Adam close one eye.. so tkya dtg uh.
Me: so you'll be coming for the next class ah?
Lydia: no uh.. lagi pon niari half day pe. ni uh aku aku nk bilang kau smlm.. beh kau tk angkat (tepon).
Me: ala abeh asl tk msg!
Lydia: hahaha sorry2.. hahaha..
Me: haiya..! hahaha. so tkde class teros lah ni?
Lydia: haha.. nope..
hahahahaha. whoo power. this has never ever happened to me before and i thought it never will. so this comes as a shock. you know, i always hear stories from other students, who come to school unknowingly, only to realise that it's a school holiday, or that the teacher had cancelled the class, etc. so when i know of people like that, i always thought to myself, one of the best news a student can get from a teacher is a sudden surprise holiday, so how can a student not know of this piece of great news at all? heh, and now, i'm hearing those words attacking back at me. well it's just that for my case, i wasn't told of this since everything was kind of a last minute thing, so yeah. and thank GOD i'm using student concession. if it was adult fare, i might just spend my whole day thinking of ways on how i should redeem the amount i'd lost on transport fare for that useless journey.
so i headed to Dear's place after that, to return his camera and chill out for awhile. that was prolly my last time seeing him before he set off for Port Dickson tmr with his family for a holiday. well at least he'll be back by Friday. aaanndd our shooting/filming for our Video Production is postponed from tmr & Fri to this Sunday. i wonder how the whole shooting thing will turn out. will it be just as how we've planned, or will it be slightly different, but better, or worse? but i hope the experience will be fun and memorable, in a good way.
i just remembered, Dear called the CMPB the other day, enquiring about his deferment, like will he still be able to defer since he's currently waiting for his result for a place in Higher Nitec. the thing is, the guy at CMPB said he could still try to ask for a deferment after he gets the result, but Dear will have a slim chance of getting deferred coz they need about 2months to process the whole deferment thing. his result will be revealed on the 21st of Feb, and the date he should start serving the NS is on the 14th of Apr. so by those dates, you can tell that Dear only has less than 2months if he wants a green light at his deferment. sigh. if he can't defer.. then i guess from now on, i'll have to be prepared for his departure to Tekong. oh well, he'll return every week or two, right? something like that. i just gotta find a way (or job) to occupy myself while he's away.
Sweeney Todd. we watched that yesterday. and i like it! the storyline, the plot, everything was brilliant. it has a great twist too. the only thing is, it is a musical, so expect lots of singing every 2 minutes. ha. it got a bit draggy too, but only at certain scenes when they start to sing, coz i was just dying to know what's gonna happen next. so i think it's much better to watch a musical at like a real live stage you know. more feeling like that. haha. and High School Musical doesn't really count, just so you know.and one of the characters, Antony Hope is his name, reminded me of Ronnie from RJA, only with shorter hair. haha. but Ronnie'es image eventually died off when we got to the much later part of the movie.
