first of all, right now as i'm typing this, my sister and her friends are prolly still talking about the great FFAF concert that i suppose ended about an hour ago. sigh. i still remember The Bravery's concert which was 2 years ago, i think. we met some friends along the way (idk them; they were my friend's friend, i think) and one of them pretended to be some groupie. lol, it was hilarious. but it was a great concert though. too bad i can't get to this one.

anyhow, earlier today me, the parents, the grandmother + her maid Kak Ati, went off to Jurong Point's Banquet. after we had our meal cum dinner, we intended to walk around the mall and window shop and stuff. and i was already hoping we could head over to Courts to browse through some SLRs, and maybe plead my mom to get me one. hehehe. well i know it's quite mean, and maybe too much to ask for from a mom, unless it's a laptop or something (coz she'd rather buy a laptop than a cam). but anyway, we din't even get to the 2nd level, coz my grandma can't walk for long distances. so we chilled at McCafe instead, before heading home.

urgh, damn those cameras.
speaking of which, i'm thinking of taking up this photography contest and just try my luck. all i gotta do is pick 2 of the 4 locations given (which is how S'pore looked back then) and simply get a shot of that same place, just with interpreting it in my own way somehow. the locations are easy to find, but the trick for me is, i don't have a proper sort of camera to get a real good image quality. heck, i don't even have a decent camera! but the prizes are so freaking tempting! contest is limited to 3 prizes as usual, but the great shit is, all 3 winners will receive a Nikon D40x! kannina.
