evening yaw!

it's so friggin' cold today. was preparing myself to leave for work, when suddenly the rain poured down. it's a good thing i was almost done coz if it rains, i usually have to leave home much earlier than usual. so anyway, yesterday was fun at work. i guess that was the only time so far that i laughed a lot with the rest of the people in the office. first Leila, a co-worker, was asking what 'bedek' (bluff) means. it got hilarious when she mispelled it as 'bedak' (powder), & then she went on to 'bogeh' (missing tooth/teeth) coz that's prolly one of the Malay words she knows. lol.

alright. question: how would your attitude/behaviour be on your first day of work?
to me i guess majority of us would be pretty humble, less chatty, less touchy & definitely less annoyiiinng pleaseee. i don't mean to be, well, mean, but i guess i'm not the only one feeling this way about the newbie here. on Monday when we arrived, she was already there & cheerfully greeted us, her enthusiasm to work's pretty obvious. then she came to my desk, intro herself & chatted for awhile.. & i was like ok cool she's nice. but then she went back & forth from her table to mine, & stood behind me while i was doing my work & suddenly, her hands wrapped around the bottom part of my hair & gently sling it to one side of my shoulder &.. sigh, idk. but that was just plain weird on a first day, especially if doing it on someone you just knew. right there & then, i kinda got the vibe of what to expect from this newbie. like the typical over-curious-almost-kaypoh schoolgirl.

i was assigned to guide her of the task she has to do, which apprently is the the task that i have to do during my first day working. so i taught what's there to know. it's good she asked questions to get herself clear, but sometimes she asked too much & not related to anything at all. at times to me it's good to know there's someone who wants to cook up a conversation with you especially if you're the kind that doesn't talk much to someone you first met -- aka me. haha. but the talking & questioning gets too much it drives me bonkers! Fida felt the same way too when newbie started to chat with her for awhile.. & i guess the rest of the people in our department felt it too. i think so lah since i was sitting almost at the way back of the room, & i could see funny reactions on some of their faces after being approached by the newbie. so yeah.

& now to Fida & that becok supervisor, i'm her new bff.

well then. enough about her. let's track back to last Fri.

Dear fetched me after work & we met up with Bean, Deeya, Zul & Hairul at The Cathay. feels good to finally hang out with friends after so long. & to take the train too! hahaha. taking the same bus for over an hour for 5 days straight could possibly make you forgot the train route. lol. the guys played pool at Lucky Plaza while Deeya & i just watched coz we weren't being such a great sport. hahaha. & Hairul has become a daredevil at criticizing my precious buck teeth. nabein terng terng. jage kau.

oh yeah watched Jangan Pandang Belakang last Sat! scary as hell sia! well it always gives me the chill to watch horror movies with typical ghosts that have long hair front & back, in a white sheet, etc. but this is gore man. geez. it took me a couple of days to get over Shutter. tho it only took me less than 2 days to get over JPB, one big scare & i'd be jumping out of my skin.

did some more shopping after that. & i finally got my desired skinny jeans! not from my desired store tho, but this is just purrfect! & now i'm left with -$30. lmao. :D
