yesterday was fun. :] Dear ended work much later than expected. he was at CCK mrt station at abt 7 in the morning, already on the way home. so we decided to meet up for awhile. he looked exhausted, poor thing. lol. then i had to go off already, already thinking of how boring it'd be in the train by myself, especially that my mp4 is busted. something wrong with it lah, need to get it fixed. but it's a good thing Dear let me borrow his ipod, so yay. lol.

it turned out that i reached earlier than expected, abt 30mins earlier. how kiasu am i? ^^" finally got in abt 15-20 mins later & soon enough mdm tina came & assigned me with various jobs. got myself occupied, & it's kinda fun lah, though my tasks were basically to do filings, get couple of sheets of papers to clip 'em up together. & i guess what made my work rather fun is that the people there are all very firendly. mdm tina is <3, tho she reminded me of my grandma on my dad's side whom i dont really like; not as much as my grandma on my mom's side. & then theres shanice, whom i helped do all the filings & stuff. shes sweet lah.

then theres a thing abt the photocopier. it got jammed while i was photocopying. knn. but i know it wasnt my fault. i knew how to use the machine & i used it correctly. but a few papers were stuck inside, prolly coz they mustve put too many papers in the slot. so yeah. shance, mdm tina & i helped get it out. but then the machine started jamming again for a couple of times. might as well make a band. haha sorry lame. but yeah, so shanice & i got it fixed & soon everything worked normally. i was doing mdm tina's work & i still had shanice's file which i was supposed to help after doing mdm tina's task, but my working hours was abt to end in like 30 mins so mdm tina like let me off without having to do shanice's work. lol. so i knoceked off at 5:20pm. :]

ooh & did i mention my lonely lunchbreak? aisey. saddening i tell you. i pathetically had my lunch by myself at Raffles City BK; which sucks coz i burned my 6 bucks just for that. i never liked BK anyway, tho i the meal i ate yesterday was rather yummy. but i had no other choice. but before that, i ran into my former sec sch classmate, jinhao, at.. erm.. this 'restaurant' at the basement of Raffles City (i actually forgot his name when i saw him, but i'd just taken a look at our class photo to recall his name before i typed it down!). had a chat with him, & found out that he'll be taking Shatec next yr! & he only have to pay abt a thousand bucks for that, coz he has soe sponsors or dont know what. & that reminded me of Dear, coz he planned on taking Shatec after NS, or graduate frm ite. :]

& i guess that's how my day was like yesterday. had to go back to the same place on monday, then i'd prolly have to go to the branch at Jurong for the rest of my working period. & i have trouble thikning of what to wear. the dress code is that we're refrain frm wearing slippers, sandals, track shoes (& that include sneakers damn it!).. & mdm tina just told me that no jeans are allowed, fuck. no 3/4s either. & if i were to wear pants, the material would have to be the kind that office people would wear, the silky smooth kinda stuff. grr & i dont have any of that. mom said she has one coz she works in an office so i'll prolly rummage thru her wardrobe & get mysef some office-retail therapy.

dressing up to work in an office environment made me so grrlish. so if you guys see me ard for the next 3 weeks, wearing something you'd never think i'd wear or expect me to wear, you know why. so dont make me your laughing stock, please & thank you.

helped mom make oatmeal cookies last night. sedap lah sei. oh wow, fasting starts tmr. i hope my tummy wont make some hunger-party through the day. :/
