saturday's Firework Festival was awesome. it was the Italian Theme, meaning all the planning & designs for the fireworks were by Italian, as in Italian people. & the fireworks just amazed us all. plus, there was an Italian opera-like music background to complement the amazing showcase of the fireworks. & honestly, the music was rather hilarious for me at a certain time, coz i dont normally listen to opera (duh) but it was still pretty nice, tho. here are some of the pics i took.

i even recorded a video of the fireworks, but i couldnt be bothered to upload 'em here. but anyway, when the whole thing was over, making our exit was fucking hard. Dear & i, we were at the bridge that'll lead us to Fullerton, & it was already so goddamn crowded im surprised the bridge dint collapse. -.-" there was even what you'd call it, human traffic jam; or something like that. we even had to wait for like 3mins for the people at the front to make a move so all of us at the back can move up as well. take note that we made our way out at ard 9.10pm, & Dear & i decided to grab a bite at Mac'd at Marina Square. but as expected, it was flooding with hungry people there wasnt even a single vacant seats available. so we decided to try our luck at Raffles City. but it was just ubber disappointment. made our way to Funan, still crowded, but thank god for the table for 2 seats available. & guess what time it was when we got there - 10.30pm. -_______- but thats ok. at least our effort dint go to waste, & the tummies were happy. hoho.

got home at 12.30 & i was bummed. it's been a very very long time since i reach home after midnight. reminds me of the old days, when my sister & i reached home almost to 1 in the morning & mom was super pissed, giving us a helluva scolding that we all ended up crying. bah, sad sad moment there.

but anywayy, yesterday's fireworks was way way waaaaayy better i tell you!! too bad i dint bring the camera along, coz i thought my sister had already brought it, BUT it was actually lying on her bed all along! grrr. i shouldve looked for it properly the next time. it was really beutiful, i swear. 10 times nicer than the Italian's. ooh, yesterday's was the Singapore Theme, & you can trust me when i say im not being biased on yesterday's fireworks performance just because they were frm S'pore. but honestly speaking, you GOT to be there to believe it. there were blinking ones, which reminds me of those blinking lights you'll see during Hari Raya or on Xmas trees. lol. there was also the kind that i'd like to call as 'disperse', coz when the sparks started to.. erm.. fall, it'd appear as groups & clusters of tiny speckles & that reminds me of the Ferrero Rocher advertisement. haha. it was just marvellous lah ok, i really really wished i had the camera with me. aiyaiyai.

oh yeah i almost forgot abt this part. we went with Dear's classmates yesterday & they brought this spray can called the laughing gas. ok thats not the name written on the can, but that's pretty much the purpose of it. you spray it on a piece of cloth or tissue paper, sniff it hard. do that a couple of times & slowly, you'll start to laugh your ass off - over nothing! XD the gas pretty much hit your nerve system or something & then you'll just start to laugh. hahaha. everyone took it except for me. they say that for the first few seconds after you'd sniffed it, your head feels so light, & very soon, you'll start to giggle & then laugh like there's no tmr. haha.

you cant really control your laughter tho, coz even if you try to stop laughing, the effect would just build up even more & there you go! yusry's laughter was the most hilarious one i guess. coz he's like the quiet2 one lah, & to see him laugh that loud was just... hahaha lah. lol. Dear tried much much more than the rest of 'em, & i was afraid he'd pass out or something. heh. coz the effect after youve taken it makes you high, something like that. but it's just that youre aware of what youre doing, compared to when you get drunk. they say it's better to sniff the laughing gas to get high instead of drinking. & i agree. ;]

i did think of trying it, but i passed coz i hate it if my head feels light & i dont wanna get a headache, eventhough thats not part of the side effects you get. just that im prone to get headaches, so yeah.

anyway. will be heading down to Esplanade to catch another set of fireworks with Dear & his sec sch friends. if we reach home late tonight, i just hope im able to get up early in the morning tmr w/o much of a hassle.

maybe i might see some of you kids there too, yea? alrighty.. bye now!
