oh so many things happened lately that i barely got the time to get online & update. well actually, i dint even bother to switch the computer on. haa.

ok lets see. ive been wanting to update on the Viva La Ska gig Dear & i went for last sunday, but yeah, no time for that since school started the day after, & i was already too exhausted for the computer. but anyway. the gig was a blast!! the best ska gig ive been to so far. =D well i went to Dear's house first, for lunch, then we set off together. met his friends jurong east & off we went to Far East Square @ Chinatown. surprisingly, we got there pretty early.but technically, not lah coz the things starts at 2, & we got there ard 230. but i guess the crew's not done with the sound-checking & stuff, so much so that it dragged all the way to 4.

so once the whole thing had started, we all got in, not many crowd in the pit during the first band's performance. but it built up after awhile. we got to the front of the stage during Full Pledge Munkee, & joined in the crowd during The Sally's too, especially that their first song was Monkeyman, aka Dear's favourite. Comic Strip was awesome of course, & we cant stop complimenting on how good the vox's voice is. no wait, it's more of Dear who cant stop asking, "Why doesnt she enter S'pore Idol?" lol.

ooh, & while skanking & that it was obviously very humid getting squished between the crowd, Dear's friend, alimudin, cant stop asking for my permission to borrow Dear for the night. oh, ghufran too. hahaha. & i was all noooo! hahaha. wah Dear was so high in demand that night. lol. but the best performance was of course, GSC! suddenly it felt like everyone came into the pit, as if nobody was left outside, everyone was dancing! erm. but then something "embarassing FOR ME" happened, of which i shall not mention. anyway. when the last part of their final song Senyuman Ragamu, it was you know, fast paced, everyone started to mosh & stuff & the funny thing was, i felt as though Dear & i, we were like somekind of twins that couldnt be separated at birth, like literally. i forgot the name for that. but yeah.

i know Dear wouldnt let me off by myself during a mosh, so he was holding onto me soo tight, & i was holding on to his jacket just as tight that i was afraid i might tear off its pocket. so throughout the whole 'fast-forward' scene, we were like those twin people. & i was wearing a mini skirt, like up to somewhere above my knee, & i was afraid my legs would get some blisters due to the stomping of feet frm everyone else. thank goodness no, but just some normal achings & all. fun shits la last sunday. =]

the whole thing ended super early too, at 9pm, can you believe it!? but it's a good thing too, coz at least i had the time to prepare for school the next day. on monday & tuesday, school was alright. except for some personal problems that made me acted out like one of those bollywood trouble-with-the-bf scene under the MRT track on our way home frm school. *rolls eyes* & wednesday was horrible; i fell sick, like really sick. i started vomitting at ard 6, & that continued until 10-ish. altogether, i vomitted 5 times. -_-" my body system was just rejecting every single bite i had. whats more i had to finish the PIE project. but then ard 2 in the morning i started to feel very weak & heaty & straightaway i knew i was down with a high fever. true enough, my temperature reached 38.3*C, so Dear & i skipped school for that day coz he accompanied me to the doctor. so there. i rest for the whole day lying on the couch watching TV & got excited when Oprah was on. you can laugh now.

on friday, after school, we went to Pet Lovers' Centre to get Dear's small hamster a new cage! a 3-storey one! very pretty & it suits her very well. i even went to his house to see him transfer her to the new cage. his mom was at home of course.

well. i guess that was it. shallow hal has started & im off to watch it. will upadate stuff soon. bye!
